San Joaquín, es un Pueblo Mágico desde 2015 ubicado en la Sierra Gorda. Está lleno de historia y ofrece una gran diversidad turística, riqueza cultural y gastronómica y paisajes naturales impresionantes.
La población está entre montañas y rodeada de pinos y encinos que contrastan con las coloridas casas. Es reconocido por su pasado minero. San Joaquín es la casa del huapango pues cada año en abril se realiza el Concurso Nacional de Huapango al que asisten personas de toda la república para presenciar este tradicional evento en donde se puede admirar una de las expresiones culturales del país que es el baile y la música de huapango.
Aquí te encontrarás con la experiencia que te ofrece El Jabalí, un campamento ecoturístico que te permitirá ponerte en contacto con la naturaleza desde el primer momento, comenzarás tu recorrido en cuatrimoto. Te entregan un casco y las instrucciones para manejarla, en caso de llevar menores de edad que no puedan conducir o que una persona no quiera aventurarse a manejar, existen cuatrimotos dobles, un adulto se encargará de operar el vehículo mientras el acompañante disfrutará del paisaje en un asiento detrás del conductor, o puedes ir en la camioneta donde llevan el equipaje, pero te recomendamos que te animes a la experiencia inmersiva.
Puedes ir con la familia, con amigos o en pareja, y desconectarse de todo porque no encontraran señal, para que lo tengas presente. Durante el viaje en cuatrimoto, los guías harán paradas a la orilla del camino para que disfrutes de la vista, te estires y descanses de manejar por un rato.
Los guías y organizadores tienen preparado un pequeño almuerzo a la mitad del trayecto para recargar pilas, además de contarte anécdotas del lugar y uno que otro chiste porque alguien no midió bien la pendiente y le dio un ligero llegue a la cuatrimoto de enfrente.
Tus manos y brazos quedarán reventados por manejar, se recomienda llevar lentes gogles porque el polvo que levantan los vehículos acabará por irritar tus ojos, bloqueador solar, gorra, ropa con manga larga, un paliacate o tela que te cubra la mitad del rostro para que no comas tierra durante todo el viaje, guantes para moto para no quedar resentido de las manos y calzado cómodo.
En el campamento, te sientes protegido por los cerros cercanos, que son como una muralla, y las cabañas se encuentran en el centro con todo el equipamiento necesario. encontrarás cabañas con cuatro camas individuales y otras con dos camas matrimoniales, que puedes rentar para tener un espacio discreto para ti y tu pareja.
Disfruta de una buena comida, y por la noche, podrás encender una fogata para iluminar la escena, ten en cuenta que cuando claves la mirada hacia arriba verás muchísimas estrellas son una nitidez que jamás habrás visto en la ciudad. El guía te presta un telescopio para observar con más claridad los astros, esto gracias a que no hay contaminación lumínica. El lugar cuenta con electricidad generada por energía solar, sin embargo, a las 00:00 horas se apaga todo, lo que permite ver el cosmos con claridad. Te contarán historias un tanto de miedo pero que al final resultaban ser cosas absurdas propias del lugar, nada de que espantarse. Cabe mencionar que los encargados buscan conservar el medio ambiente y, aparte, el campamento se creó para formar empleos para la población local, ya que San Joaquín destaca por su contacto con la naturaleza y la desconexión con la cotidianidad.

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found
