Con la Sala VIP Louge Bajío, destacó el Mandatario, permitirá una atención de calidad a quienes visitan Guanajuato y a quienes vienen a realizar negocios e inversiones.
Eduardo Contreras Mora, Director General del Aeropuerto Internacional de Guanajuato, destacó que la nueva infraestructura en la terminal aérea, ha incrementado en un 300% la capacidad de atención de pasajeros.
“Estamos hablando que antes teníamos 60 bancas y ahora tenemos 102, esto nos da mucha más apertura para que la gente esté más cómoda en nuestra sala y con la facilidad de que podrá abordar por un acceso exclusivo con seguridad”.
“La sala nos va a permitir ahorro de tiempo y tener mayor confort para los pasajeros, tenemos cuarto para fumadores, cuarto para niños, sanitario para familias y alimentos de calidad”, indicó.
Dio a conocer que gracias a las medidas sanitarias que se implementan en coordinación con la Secretaría de Salud en las llegadas y salidas en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Guanajuato, se está recuperando la confianza de los usuarios para realizar viajes aéreos.
“Gracias a eso, hemos tenido una recuperación muy importante, en el mes de noviembre llegamos al 65% de recuperación, eso nos posiciona como un aeropuerto pujante y esto se debe a la demanda que tenemos en toda la región del bajío”.
El Aeropuerto Internacional de Guanajuato, cuenta con 15 rutas a 8 destinos nacionales y 7 internacionales operados por 3 aerolíneas nacionales y dos internacionales que ofrecen 143 vuelos semanales y 21 mil asientos.
En octubre se registraron 133.7 mil pasajeros, de los cuales 105.1 mil son nacionales y el resto, 28.6 mil son extranjeros. Entre enero y octubre, la entidad recibió 10.3 millones de visitantes, lo que ha significado una derrama de 28 mil 512 millones de pesos.

Con el objetivo de promover los atractivos turísticos y culturales de la entidad; el Gobernador, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo entregó a las autoridades del Aeropuerto Internacional de Guanajuato, la Marca Turística “Guanajuato Vive Grandes Historias”.
El Secretario de Turismo, Juan José Álvarez Brunel, destacó la importancia de tener la Marca Turística de Guanajuato en una de las terminales aéreas más importantes a nivel nacional e internacional.
“Nuestra marca turística representa la hospitalidad de todos los guanajuatenses y lo queremos compartir con todos nuestros visitantes, porque en Guanajuato se Viven Grandes Historias”, destacó.
