Pavo navideño a las hierbas
Para 10 personas
Ingredientes:
1 pavo de 5 kg
5000 grs de mantequilla
50 grs de tomillo
50 grs de romero
50 grs de salvia
3 cebollas
5 zanahorias
8 ramas de apio
3 lts de caldo de pollo
Preparación:
- Precalienta el horno a 180 grados
- Levanta la piel de la pechuga, piernas y muslo sin romperla.
- Pica las hierbas, pon la mantequilla a temperatura ambiente hasta que se derrita un poco y mezclas las hierbas.
- Con la mantequilla en pomada, unta todo el pavo por dentro y por fuera.
- Corta las verduras y pon en la parte de abajo de la charola donde se cocinará el pavo.
- Agrega el caldo y el pavo; tápalos con papel aluminio.
- Hornea por dos horas, pero en los últimos 40 minutos, retira el papel y pon un poco de mantequilla para dorarlo.
- Licua el caldo con los vegetales, cuela y agrega maicena para tener tu salsa.
Ensalada de manzana
Ingredientes
1 kg de manzana verde
400 grs de piña en almíbar
300 grs de durazno en almíbar
100 grs de nueces picada
50 grs de pasas picada
250 ml de crema ácida
250 ml de leche condensada
Preparación:
- Pica la manzana, la piña y los duraznos; guarda un poco del almíbar de cada uno.
- Mezcla en un bowl, las frutas, las nueces, las pasas, la crema y la leche.
- Agrega un poco del almíbar para endulzar.
Strudel de manzana
Ingredientes
250 grs de pasta de hojaldre
300 grs de manzana verde
150 grs de mantequilla
150 grs de azúcar
3 cucharadas de canela en polvo
80 grs de almendra picada
Harina
Preparación
- En una sartén, pon la mitad de la mantequilla, agrega la manzana picada y saltea durante 5 minutos. Agrega la mitad del azúcar y la canela, reserva.
- Pon en la mesa el harina y estira la pasta hojaldre hasta formar un rectángulo.
- Con la mezcla fría, rellena la masa, enrolla y mete las esquinas. Sigue enrollando hasta tener un tronco.
- Barniza con mantequilla y azúcar. Haz unos pequeños cortes en forma diagonal sobre la masa.
- Hornea a 180º C durante 35 minutos.
- Acompaña con helado de vainilla.
